The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA), Germany’s agency responsible for regulating vehicle quality and safety, has approved our third autonomous vehicle. After completing the KBA’s rigorous assessment process for autonomous vehicles in public spaces, we are thrilled to announce that our IntelliBulli, a modified VW Transporter, has received approval.

This permits us to test the IntelliBulli’s automated driving functionalities on public roads, together with our existing fleet, which includes the VW Tiguan and the MAN Lion’s City E 12m bus.

This is another important step toward achieving our mission of advancing technology and innovation in Berlin, stimulating the economy, and bringing autonomous driving technology closer to the public, policymakers, businesses, and the media.

We would like to thank the KBA and our partner, Schaeffler, for their support.

Special thanks also go to our outstanding team—your dedication makes all this possible!
