We are thrilled to announce a momentous collaboration between ZEKI | Zentrum für erlebbare KI und Digitalisierung at TU Berlin and the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ), alongside the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, to establish a pioneering research center for Experiential Artificial Intelligence in the Free Zones of Qatar.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for ZEKI Doha, orchestrated by Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Sahin Albayrak of TU Berlin and Dr Ahmad Al-Sayed, Minister and Chairman of QFZ, during the Web Summit Qatar, marks a significant milestone in the realm of technological advancement and collaboration.

Joining esteemed representatives such as Lothar Freischlader, the Ambassador of Germany in Doha, were numerous dignitaries from Qatari ministries, authorities, and organizations, underscoring the profound significance of this partnership.

Much like its Berlin counterpart, ZEKI Doha aims to pioneer innovative tools and frameworks to propel the development and deployment of Artificial Intelligence across pivotal sectors such as mobility, healthcare, cybersecurity, and the future of work.

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Sahin Albayrak expressed his honor in partaking in this transformative initiative, emphasizing the creation of a nexus for innovation wherein industry and academia converge to push the boundaries of AI and digitalization.
